Origin: Yunnan, China

Pu’er is a fermented tea that can be aged anywhere from months to decades to bring out a wealth of flavours. Our shu pu’er is a blend of teas from southern Yunnan that have been pile fermented for three to four months. This process makes a boldly smooth brew that’s consistent throughout each cuppa, and it’s in loose leaf form to make it a reliable everyday pu’er. Don’t take that to be a knock against this tea: sometimes it takes a workhouse to get the job done (plus not everyone wants to pay hundreds of dollars for a 30 year vintage!).
