Without a doubt the most robust tea we offer. Irish Breakfast is a blend of Assam and Kenyan teas formulated specifically to wake you up after a long night of drinking and fighting. With a flavor profile similar to coffee, this is a great tea for mornings, nights before exams, people with a case of the Mondays, and those trying to kick the coffee habit.
While listed in the “orthodox” section of our offerings, it is actually produced utilizing the crush-tear-curl (CTC) method. As it is unflavoured we decided to place it here rather than leave it drifting alone.
Organic black tea.
All teas are produced in a facility that handles gluten, tree nuts, and dairy.
Start with 1 tsp of loose tea, then add 1 tsp per 8oz of water. For example, a 16oz teapot will use 3 tsp of loose tea.
Steep for 4 minutes using 212ºF (100ºC) water.
Notes & Recommendations
Tasting Notes: Coffee, malty, stout, cacao, charred steak, strong astringency.
Drinking Recommendation: Hot with milk and sugar.
